Uptown Koffee and Kafe is a small mom and pop shop nestled in Milton, WA that has always had YOU in mind.  Owners John and Missy Fietz had a burning desire to create a place in their community for people to come, gather, make memories and celebrate the milestones of life!  In 2016, this vision became a reality!

This café has a rustic, homey feel and is located at 2700 Milton Way.  John and Missy wanted to make sure everyone’s needs were met and that the atmosphere was perfect for everyone.  On the main floor there is a large fireplace which you can enjoy inside or outside.  There are tables and chairs, handcrafted by owner John Fietz along with some comfy couches if you’re wanting to relax a bit more.  There are always games on hand allow people to come together (or keep the kids busy).  And on the second floor, there is a meeting space called the “Koop” that groups can reserve.  Community has been and remains the focus of this small shop.

“A lot of people assume it’s a coffee shop, which it is, but to us it’s so much more than a coffee shop. It’s a place to come and sit and meet people and mingle and a place that has food and space for people to have gatherings,” Missy Fietz said.”

Yes, it says coffee in the name, but Uptown Koffee and Kafe is SOO much more than just coffee!  As stated, this place is about the FME community and so, Uptown loves supporting locals and small businesses.  If you don’t know already, Uptown’s cakepops come from Milton’s very own Cakepop Girl. If you haven’t tried them, you’re missing out!  JoJo’s Bakery is also proudly supported at Uptown Koffee and Kafe.  Pick-ups from custom orders are available at the shop and JoJo’s bakery features custom desserts in the fridge located next to the counter.

Uptown offers breakfast (ALL DAY), lunch, soup, salad and appetizers.  This is no joke! Full meals!  If that isn’t enough, there’s a somewhat secret menu… Every month there is a special that can ONLY be found when you come to the shop! Yes, special monthly drinks, but also FOOD!  There is always a special breakfast and lunch menu item for you to try that only lasts for the month.  Some have been so popular they made it to the everyday menu.  When the time comes, you do NOT want to miss out on Missy’s Famous Mac Salad.  It is highly recommended!

If you didn’t already know, Uptown Koffee and Kafe also offers alcohol.  Beer, wine and cocktails available when you dine in.  If you’re in a rush, there is also a “Kocktail Kit” which is sealed so you can take it to go!  And don’t forget our signature wine slushies.  No better way to relax and unwind!

Uptown Koffee and Kafe also features a couple wide screen tvs that are always going on gameday.  We would love to see you here and cheer alongside you!

But wait, there is more!  Uptown Koffee and Kafe has a somewhat famous baker in the house!  She was featured on the news and for good reason- her pastries are AMAZING!  And that is kind of an understatement.  Each month and day features new treats to keep things fresh.  What you can count on though is it will be delicious- And that on Fridays there will be fancy donuts and on Saturday there will be fancy cinnamon rolls.

There really is something for everyone here!  There’s even a gift shop!  Owner Missy Fietz has made it her mission to supply you with the best shopping experience.  While you wait for your coffee or food to be prepared, take a gander around the shop.  There are gifts for babies, weddings, anniversaries, housewarming, host, kids’ toys and so much more.  There are seasonal items to keep you ready for the holidays and then there are staples to keep you prepared for every other occasion.   Stop in and check it out!

Because the community is so important and Uptown Koffee and Kafe cares for their neighbors, there is typically some kind of donation bin for clothes or toys in the shop.  There has been tremendous help from the community of FME to support those in need. Whether it’s jackets for kids, school supplies, winter supplies for the homeless or toys during the holidays, Uptown Koffee and Kafe has stepped up and allowed their space to be used as a place for people to drop off and collect donations.  Even the smallest acts of kindness make the biggest difference!
